Magna's parent company Global Ispaat Limited was established in 1995 and has since come a long way from being a manufacturing unit of MS Ingots to an integrated steel plant involving melting, continuous casting and rolling divisions to produce superior TMT bars. With more than two decades of experience in the field, we employ the most sophisticated technology to deliver international quality products. MAGNA-SUPEr DUCTILE REBAR
A majority of India’s landmass is vulnerable to earthquakes. The earlier earthquakes in Bhuj, Latur, Kashmir among others have greatly increased the demand for earthquake resistant construction.
Ductility is one of the most important physical property of high strength TMT rebars used for earthquake resistant construction. Magna steel has introduced the super ductile rebars as per the latest international standards for use in earthquake prone areas. The unique high elongation (18-24 %) and high UTS/YS ratio (1.15) obtained by Thermex quenching process makes Magna TMT an ideal choice for use in earthquake prone areas (Zone 3,4 and 5).
The unique combination of strength and ductility makes MAGNA an ideal choice for all modern day constructions such as Dams, bridges, high rise and any critical structure.
TMT bars are accepted internationally only when they pass through a patented process of Thermex or Tempcore. Magna TMT is manufactured using the licensed Thermex quenching system (technology) from Henningsdorfers Stahl Engineering (HSE) Gmbh, Germany. It consists of the latest version-3 proprietary Thermex Quenching Pipes to produce high strength rebars as per latest international standards.
Why Magna TMT
Under elevated temperatures, Magna TMX rebars yield excellent tensile strength. From 575 MPa tensile strength under 20° C it moves only to 540 MPa under 600° C temperature.

A uniform and thick tempered martensitic rim, completely free from internal stresses, improves the corrosion resistance as well as its fatigue strength.
